Grab Hire in Derby
Bailey Earthmoving provides grab hire across Derby – from the city centre and Pride Park to Allestree, Mickleover, Littleover, Chaddesden, Spondon, Alvaston and Chellaston. Our base at Lower Kilburn is just north of the city, so our grab lorries are never far from your site. Grab hire suits Derby's terraced streets and tight driveways: the crane loads over walls and fences straight from the road, so there's no skip left on the street and no barrowing waste through the house. We can take soil, rubble and hardcore away and deliver sharp sand, MOT Type 1, gravel or topsoil on the same visit.
Fast, Affordable Grab Lorry Hire by Bailey Earthmoving
What is Grab Hire?
Grab hire is a fast and efficient alternative to skip hire, particularly when access is tight or time is short. Using a hydraulic grab arm, our lorries can collect and remove waste directly from your site – meaning no need for manual loading or waiting for skip swaps.
Our grab lorries can carry up to 16 tonnes of material in a single load, helping you keep your site tidy, safe, and compliant.
What We Can Remove?
Our grab lorries are suitable for a wide range of materials, including:
- Inert waste – soil, clay, sand, stone
- Hardcore and rubble
- Broken concrete and tarmac
- Green waste – branches, grass, tree roots
- General builder’s waste and muck away
Not sure if your waste is suitable for grab hire? Give us a call and we’ll advise you on the best solution.
Aggregate Delivery Also Available
As well as waste removal, we also offer bulk delivery of aggregates using our grab lorries. We can deliver quarried and recycled materials straight to site, saving you time and reducing traffic movements.
Available materials include:
- Recycled 6F5
- Quarried MOT Type 1
- Topsoil (screened or general purpose)
- Sharp sand
- 10mm and 20mm gravel
- Crushed concrete and more
Need us to grab out and deliver back on the same visit? We can do that too – just ask when booking.
